RVT's: SNAP Wants YOU Registered/Licensed Veterinary Technician needed for the Neuter Scooter's surgical team: Join the team that is "fixing" pet overpopulation. Very rewarding and fast paced -- not the average, mundane 9 to 5 job.SNAP is looking for seasoned technicians experienced in surgical/emergency companion animal care. Responsibilities include surgery prep, calculation and administration of pre-surgical meds, maintenance of drug log, administration and oversight of anesthesia and monitoring systems, intubation and extubation. Must have good people skills (occasional interface with clients who may not be well versed with veterinary/medical issues). Shelter experience a plus. Flexibility and a desire to be a team member, as well as the team leader, a must. Relief work/variable schedule - clinics take place weekdays and weekends depending upon staff availability, throughout San Diego County.
