Biography Lori Walton
Lori Walton has always loved animals and after giving time and money towards animal adoptions for over 30 years, she finally realized that we cannot adopt our way out of animal overpopulation. The only way to make a dent in the 3.7 million animals that are euthanized every year in the United States because they are homeless, is through spaying & neutering. Lori has been a member of the SNAP Board of Directors since 2012, serving as Chief Advancement Officer.
Her love and appreciation for non-profit work began in college when she became President of UCLA’s official undergraduate service organization. Post graduation, Lori was invited to become a member of UCLA's Foundation Governor Board & Leadership Council.
Lori has served on 16 different non-profit boards and has chaired over 20 fundraisers for organizations ranging from the arts to education to youth services to animal welfare to the environment to the military.
She has a blog called BdaKiNE.com where she shares the light that can be found during everyday life.
