The following veterinary clinics have signed an agreement with the County Department of Animal Services to abide by the prices listed. Spay/Neuter surgeries are performed BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. When you call to make an appointment, please state that SNAP referred you for the Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Program. If you do not specify that you have been referred for this program, you will receive different pricing.

Some veterinary clinics may offer you additional services (vaccines, pain medication, fluids, antibiotics, etc) at additional fees. Please feel free to discuss whether you feel that the additional services are needed and whether you can afford additional services. The offer of additional services varies from office to office. According to the agreement with the Department of Animal Services, additional services can be recommended but cannot be required. If your pet is over 7 years of age, a geriatric blood screening is advisable to determine if any underlying conditions might be identified that might increase the risk of surgery and so that necessary adjustments might be recommended.

SNAP welcomes your feedback regarding the program - if you had a good experience or if you had concerns. Thanks so much for fixing your pet(s) and making sure that they don't contribute to pet overpopulation.
